Sunlight on Your Schedule
Your smart blinds operate independently of one another and can be set to open and close when it is most convenient for you. Set individual Scenes for each of your blinds using the PowerView® app. They can also open at midday in cooler weather to let natural light warm your room. This not only helps preserve natural resources but can also lower your heating costs. Your smart blinds can also open or close according to the temperate changes sensed by your smart home system. There are few things like waking up to the rising morning sun, and by simply setting your location in the PowerView® app you can schedule your motorized blinds to open at sunrise and close at sunset. Smart blinds are a great choice for large expanses of windows, or hard-to-reach windows, such as skylights.
PowerView® Programming
Programming your motorized blinds is almost as easy as using them. Use your voice to activate your smart blinds by connecting your PowerView® to Amazon Alexa, Siri® on Apple HomeKit®, or Google Assistant™ using your Google Home™ system.
The PowerView® Hub is required to utilize the PowerView® app to set and activate your Scenes. The device connects to your home’s WiFi to store settings and serves as a central control point for your smart blinds. After your Hub and app are enabled, you can activate the Remote Connect™ feature. Using this tool, you can log in to your PowerView® Automation system globally via the Internet. This feature adds an element of security to your home, allowing you to make your home appear as though it is occupied while you are away.

Hunter Douglas PowerView® Automation allows you to create your own personalized scenes with just the push of a button. Wake up naturally to soft early sunlight by setting your shades to raise in the morning. Wind down by lowering your blackout shades before you go to bed. Motorization works on your schedule. Perfectly manage your privacy and room darkening customization with the PowerView® App, the Pebble® Remote Control, or the PowerView® Gateway that integrates with smart-home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Siri® on your Apple device, or the Google Assistant, which enables you to use voice activation commands.

The PowerView® App

Hunter Douglas window treatments with PowerView® can be powered by a rechargeable battery wand, 16 Shade DC Power Supply, 18V DC Power Supply, an internal rechargeable battery, Alkaline Battery Wand, C-Size Satellite Battery Wand, and Satellite Battery Pack. The Dual Charging Station and Single Charger charges your battery wands in a few hours for months of continued use.
